When I was in seventh grade, I remember my brother talking about going to college when you're in high school. I thought that I would never be able to do it. He also told me that the school pays for your college and you don't have to pay anything and you can graduate from high school with two years of college under your belt. I never, in a million years, thought I would be here today doing college classes in high school. So far, it's going alright. I'm planning on graduating with one year of college done and then I'll only have one more year left of college to become a dental assistant. It's a little difficult to do with a little thirteen month old running around everywhere, but I'm managing. I'm getting a lot of help from my mom and my boyfriend.
After college, I plan on moving far away from Minnesota. I absolutely can't stand winter or the cold. When I find a job as a dental assistant and I save up some money, I plan on going further with my education and becoming a dental hygienist. I'm going to wait on that for a few years, so I can get my life straightened out. I want to be ready when I go back to college. You never know, I might decide to change my career by the time I'm ready to go back to college.
